This is an organization that helps refugee students in Milwaukee to be more fluent in English and provide resources to succeed. We directly serve students ranging from first grade through college.

We have tutoring on Tuesday Evenings (6pm to 8pm) and Saturday Mornings (10am to 12pm) at The Neighborhood House (2819 W. Richardson Place, Milwaukee WI 53208) You can pick your own schedule on days you can attend.

We are always looking for volunteers to work with our students. We focus on assisting students with homework, ESL(English as a second language) activities, and developing social skills.

If you are interested in volunteering, please complete our online application using the following link.

Once your application is reviewed, you will be contacted to determine next steps.

Feel free to visit our website at or contact me if you have any further questions or would like more information. The experience is rewarding and you are helping making a difference in our students lives.
