Bridging the Gap- Virtual Play and Learn

Open Opportunity

Mile High United Way’s Bridging the Gap (BTG) program works one-on-one with young people ages 18-24 who have exited the child welfare system, many of the Bridging the Gap participants are parents themselves.

We are looking for volunteers to submit one of the following videos that will be shared with BTG parents and their young ones (ages 0 - 8):
1. Reading your favorite children's book
2. Doing a simple math problem in a fun way!
3. A fun way you do exercise with your kids
4. Singing a sing-a-long, with dance and hand motions!

Play helps to nurture imagination and give a child a sense of adventure. Through these short videos BTG parents can watch with their children, or can use these videos for a much needed break.

Once you register (within 24 hours) you will receive instructions on where to send the video and other parameters. This can be a great video for you to complete on your own or with your own children
