About

The afternoon Shift Lead is a hearty, energetic person, who will be on the go a lot in this physically demanding role. This role requires a lot of communication, retrieving product and briefly dialoguing with participants. The lead will monitor safety protocols inside and outside, where participants are waiting and work closely with the Intake person and food bank staff. The lead will make sure each volunteer is assigned and certain of their task, is masked and following safety protocols. In addition, the lead ensures that product is ample for the afternoon distribution and asks stocker to replenish, as needed. In some cases, the lead may need to retrieve product.

-Minimum Age – 18
-Ability and willingness to be physically active and to perform light to moderate lifting.
-Ability and willingness to serve in a leadership role. Leadership and teamwork experience required.
