About

How does "community" inform how we approach our work? Through a global pandemic, in our personal and professional lives? If a community functions as a social unit, how do each of our intersecting identities affect how we strategize and communicate with one another? We will discuss what it means to be a community, the challenges and opportunities, as we transition into the next part of 2021.

[[Michelle Rocqet is a Teaching Artist at social justice and music education non-profit, Youth On Record. She is also a long time member of the Denver music community, and performs with the experimental pop band, The Milk Blossoms (Denver Westword Music Award: Best Pop Band / Best Experimental Band). Artist, Musician, Educator, Producer, and Public Speaker. She is also pretty allergic to cheese and is really bummed about it.]]
