About
The Pigs & Peaches Festival is an annual celebration held at Adams Park in Kennesaw, GA. The event attracts thousands of people from the region for two days of cooking competitions, live music, fireworks, and more!
The Kennesaw Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring the festival, and KSU students will be provided to volunteer throughout the festival's duration.Volunteers are needed throughout the week to assist with the event, including event set-up, day-of operation, and event breakdown. Volunteer shifts are provided by the organizers of the festival, and range from 4-6 hours.
All volunteers will receive a Pigs & Peaches t-shirt to wear during their shift as well as some other KSU swag you are encouraged to wear while volunteering!
Transportation
Charter buses will be provided to transport volunteers between KSU's Kennesaw campus and Adams Park. If you choose to volunteer on August 16th, 17th, or 18th, you have the option to use the charter bus or find arrangements yourself.
