The Mile High United Way Children's Holiday Party is our largest community outreach event of the year. We are looking forward to serving 1,000 children this year.
Thanks to the generous donations of our community and corporate partners we are able to provide a toy store where parents can "shop" for new gifts for their children. Children will have the opportunity to meet Santa, craft and play holiday themed activities. At the end of the day families will leave with great holiday memories, treasured homemade keepsakes, and wrapped gifts.

Please note if you plan to drop off supplies at our building, we are only accepting supplies Mondays and Fridays between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Please contact volunteer@unitedwaydenver.org for questions about drives or to coordinate a drop off.

Dress Requirements: This will be a high energy, indoor/ outdoor opportunity so please wear comfortable, warm layered clothing.
Children- This is a family friendly event. Children are welcome to volunteer at this event.
Language- Bilingual volunteers needed, especially for the Bilingual Welcome and Personal Shopper roles.
Please contact Mile High United Way at volunteer@unitedwaydenver.org if you respond yes to the following questions the week of the event.
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a fever, cough or shortness of breath. See the CDC’s symptom information.

o If full, there is also a large lot across from the building on Park Avenue that is $5/day.
o Street parking is available along Stout and California. If choosing to park on the side streets, please be aware of the time limits. We’d hate for anyone to get a parking ticket. 😊

This event will serve nearly 400 families and we hand out nearly 2,000 toys, be prepared to wrap a bundle of gifts! There may be families interested in helping wrap their own gifts too.

Once gifts have been wrapped, runners will take them to the check-out area and make sure that the tickets match the gifts at check-out.
