Join the community for a day of support for new families and those with children 5 and younger. Families will be connected with resources and new baby supplies, sign up for a library card and get their first books, and learn about programs across the city that exist to make those early days just a little easier for caregivers.
Bilingual volunteers needed for this opportunity!

Please note if you plan to drop off supplies at our building, we are only accepting supplies Mondays and Fridays between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. until May 12.

Those volunteers who are registered for the event on Saturday are encouraged to also register for the volunteer training session on Monday, May 15 at noon. This session will be recorded and the link to the recording will be sent out after for those who are unable to participate live.

Requirement Details
The Women United Village will be an active, indoor/outdoor volunteer event. Please dress and plan accordingly, with layers and comfortable shoes.
If you are feeling ill, experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have had a recent exposure, please contact the volunteer team at volunteer@unitedwaydenver.org to cancel your shift.
Adults volunteering with children can indicate that they will be bringing children and share their names during the registration process. They do not need to register children separately. Anyone over the age of 18 should register separately.
Parking Details
During the event on Saturday, May 20, the parking garage will be available for volunteers to park in as space allows. The entrance to the garage is near California Street. Please enter from California Street as our Stout Street entrance will not be available.
o If full, there is also a large paid lot across from the building on Park Avenue.
o Street parking is available along Stout and California. If choosing to park on the side streets, please be aware of the time limits. We’d hate for anyone to get a parking ticket. 😊
During the week prior to the event, parking will be available on the parking deck behind the building on a first come first serve basis. Please use the California Street entrance to the parking deck.
