Hello Volunteers! We would like to thank you for helping support Bethany Cemetery.
Please sign up if you would like to be a part of this volunteer opportunity. This community event will have a salute to the Buffalo Soldiers, Ancestral prayers, displays and the stories of Bethany Cemetery and of course food and drinks. All ages are welcome, but volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
Tasks may include
- Setting up and breaking down event tents and spaces
- Supporting food booth, handing out food and drinks
- Directing and greeting attendees
- Handing out water and helping with crowd control and ensuring the safety of all participants
Where to meet
Meeting and check in will be at the welcome table near the front gate. Please mention that you are a Keep Austin Beautiful Volunteer and would like to sign in.
A NOTE ON SAFETY: We encourage you to “See and Be Seen!” Be mindful of your fellow volunteers and maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times. Dial 911 in case of emergency.
