Weavehouse Volunteers

Our work depends on the care and engagement of our community volunteers. Our weavers make beautiful artisan woven products from fashion accessories to home decor. Before we can the fabric loaded onto our looms, we to have it broken down into weft balls.

Creating a weft ball is a series of steps involving cutting, measuring, and wrapping fabric. Once you learn the process, it becomes second nature. By having our volunteers help with this portion of the process, our weavers can focus more time on creating their beautiful, skillful products.

We are located in Scottdale, GA, on the border between Avondale Estates and Decatur. We welcome volunteers anytime they are available. Our Weavehouse is open Monday - Thursday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. We are closed on National Holidays.

If there is a time you can volunteer outside of the time slots provided, please contact Jocelyn at jocelynpaez@reloom.org. We also welcome groups of volunteers, please contact ahead of time.
