About
Aurora Homeless Connect is a free resource fair for individuals and families at-risk or experiencing homelessness in the Aurora area. During this one day event, guests are able to access an array of services ranging from ID services, housing services, clothing banks, vision check, healthcare, veterans services, pet care and much more. This event will jointly be celebrating the opening of the Day Resource Center and home for our event. We hope to see a couple hundred guests and need nearly as many volunteers to make the day a success. Please join us on June 27th as we help our most vulnerable population access the resources they need to become self-sufficient for themselves and their families.

Requirement Details
Volunteers will receive a t-shirt upon check-in and should plan to wear that t-shirt for the duration of their volunteer shift. If you attend an in-person training you're welcome to collect your t-shirt at that date/time but will need to wear it to the event as we will not have extras.
Perks
Lunch will be provided to all attending the event and all volunteers will receive a t-shirt.
Parking Details
We highly encourage you to carpool, utilize public transportation or a car service like Uber/Lyft. Parking will be available around the DRC however on a first come, first serve. There will also be street parking available and parking garages in the area. The new Light rail R-Line has 2 stops (Fitzsimons and Colfax) just under a mile to the DRC as well.
