Character Playbook Experience with Denver Broncos

Friday, May 4th, 2018 from 9:30am to 12:30pm (MT)

In partnership with the Denver Broncos, help us educate students on how to cultivate and maintain healthy relationships during their critical middle school years.

For the first part of the event, students will participate in a panel discussion addressing the importance of character.  In the second part of the event, the Broncos and Mile High United Way will run an activity-based Character Playbook Experience that will combine good character habits with physical activity.

The Character Playbook Experience is made up of 6 stations that address a physical skill and a character component. Examples of the stations include the vertical jump, the 40 yard dash, and the QB challenge. Your role as one of the station leaders is to share the character message, demonstrate the drill (drills will be ones that everyone can do), and encourage students to enjoy and do their best. Enjoying working with students and giving a great high five are the only requirements.
