About
Clothing Swaps, hosted by OwlSwap, are a chance for KSU students to trade gently used clothing for new-to-you wardrobe additions! The next Clothing Swap will be hosted on February 4th from 11am - 3pm in the Carmichael Student Center, 3rd Floor Loft!
This is our Valentine's Day Swap with a theme of "Love Yourself and Your Environment". Wear red or pink to get a free extra ticket to grab an extra item!
Volunteers are needed to help with event set-up starting at 9:30am, check-in, check-out, and other event logistics. Consider signing up for one of the shifts!
Set up for the event will start in the Kennesaw OwlSwap closet (129 Willingham Hall) at 9:30AM.
The event is located in the Student Center 3rd Floor Loft. Cleanup will start at 3PM and will involve bringing the items back to the Kennesaw OwlSwap closet.
OwlSwap Closet is a resource that provides all KSU students, faculty, and staff with free access to professional attire for academic and employment opportunities as well as everyday clothing. Not only does it give everyone a chance to acquire new-to-you clothing, but it also encourages sustainable consumption.
The closet is made possible thanks to the generous support and donations from the KSU community. Along with the OwlSwap closet, we also provide professional wardrobe support Dress for Success Program. With our partnership with Career Planning, we help students become more prepared for work environments.

Requirement Details
Important - Signing in and getting credit for your volunteer hours - When you arrive, check in with a team member & we will have you sign-in so we can log your volunteer hours accurately. If you are helping with set up (9:30am - 10am) please come to the OwlSwap closet in 129 Willingham Hall on the Kennesaw Campus. If you are helping with a later shift, please go to the Carmichael Student Center University Rooms. The final, event clean up, shift will involve us going between the University Rooms and the closet in Willingham Hall. · This is set up time for the swap. We will be moving clothing back and forth from room 129 in Willingham Hall and the university rooms in the student center
10am-3pm
· This is the duration of the actual event; everyone will be on the Campus Green. Come on in when you arrive and let an OwlSwap team member know so you can sign-in and begin helping :)
3pm-4pm
- The swap ends at 3pm, so we will pack it up and move stuff back to room 129 Willingham Hall.

Where can I shop the closets?
The Kennesaw Closet is in Willingham Hall 129 (Willingham Hall is located between University Hall and Social Sciences/ next to the Gazebo) and the Marietta Closet is downstairs (by the CARE Pantry) in the Joe Mack Wilson Student Center Room 187. Both closets are open Mon - Thur 11am - 5pm.
How do I shop the closets?
Shopping at the KSU OwlSwap Closets is FREE! Students, faculty, and staff can shop the closets by simply coming in, checking in and happy shopping from there! Each person can choose up to 10 items.
Do I have to bring something to shop the closets?
No! The only time we ask you to bring in items is for swapping events like the one you are at today. You can bring up to 10 items to get tickets to exchange for up to 10 'new to you' items.
Can I donate/How do I donate?
We accept donations and you can email: owlswap@kennesaw.edu with the number of items you plan to donate and the date you plan to drop off.
Please remember to sign-in and out so we can validate volunteer hours!!
