IMPORTANT: To help the selection process go smoothly, please take a moment to read these instructions.
Thank you for visiting the Adopt-A-Family site. We’re eager to get you connected with an individual or family.
We have a new system this year and ask for your patience as you register.
Here are the steps:
- If you haven’t volunteered with Catholic Charities in the past couple of months, you’ll need to make an account with our new volunteer platform Give Pulse.
- If you do have an account, log in.
- Once you've logged into your account, scroll down and click on the number of people you'd like to support this holiday season.
- You will be directed to a “Request to Join” button, which is necessary in order to become part of our system. It is a quick form to fill out that will help us stay in touch with you during the Adopt-A-Family program.
- Scroll down and click on their names and you'll get information about them. (But don't click register yet.)
- Helpful Hint: Give Pulse calls people "shifts" so when you see "shift," think person or people.
- Hit the back button to see more people you might like to choose.
- Once you've decided on a person or family, click REGISTER next to the family or individual's name that you'd like to "adopt".
- A popup window will appear slowly and will display a list of names. Find your person's name by searching shifts or scrolling through the list. Click on that name and it will be highlighted in blue at the top.
- Scroll to the bottom and click NEXT.
- Agree to the Liability Release Form and click UPDATE.
- You should get a Registration Completed popup and an email will be sent to your inbox shortly. Thank you for your patience with our new system.
