Samaritan Community Center is a grace-driven nonprofit organization with a mission to serve the hurting and hungry of Northwest Arkansas with dignity and compassion. We work to achieve our mission by offering a suite of seven interconnected programs that have been specifically designed to address the needs of Northwest Arkansas families who struggle with hunger and poverty. At Samaritan Community Center, Our Vision is to encourage all who enter our doors to find Hope and experience positive life change. Our Vision doesn't just apply to our clients. When we say "all who enter our doors", we mean it! Volunteers are mission-critical to Samaritan Community Center. The Northwest Arkansas community gives over 55,000 hours of volunteer service to us each year. With so many programs to choose from, everyone who volunteers at Samaritan Community Center can tailor their volunteer experience to best align with their personal interests. From packing SnackPacks, to serving community meals in Samaritan Cafe, to sorting donated goods for resale, to harvesting organically-grown produce, we have the right volunteer opportunity for YOU!
