About
We are the Beta chapter of the national Nu Rho Psi honorary Neuroscience society for the state of Georgia. Since 2013, we have inducted graduate, undergraduate, and faculty members to the society. We host academic and service (mostly public outreach) programs. Membership is by invitation only and allows you to apply for additional awards and grants as an undergraduate student. The theme for 2020-2021 is “The Gut-Brain Connection”. You can learn more about Nu Rho Psi at https://nurhopsi.org/about/
Requirements for membership include:
• Major or minor in Neuroscience
• Completion of at least 3 semesters of the College course
• Completion of at least 9 credit hours of Neuroscience-related courses
• Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.2 and a minimum GPA of 3.5 in Neuroscience courses
