About

The Tau Phi Chapter of the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society was founded at North Carolina A&T State University in 1996 by Gerald Garcia (class of 1997). The goal of chapters within this honor society have a vested interested in the pursuit of biological knowledge, particularly through conducting scientific research. We seek to provide members with opportunities for professional development and assistance with career planning. Community service is a fundamental part of our organization, as it encourages application of classroom knowledge to real-life scenarios to prepare students for their post-graduate plans while combating current public health concerns in Greesnboro.
