| Description | Monitor the safety, progression, and flow of athletes within an assigned area. This may include: Being positioned at crosswalks, turns, or corners to verbally and/or physically signal directions to athletes along the course; Monitor participants and keep spectators from crossing/entering the course. Spectators are not allowed to cross an active race course unless directed and/or are given permission by a volunteer. |
