2019 Denver Day of Service

We would be utilizing volunteers to make meals/snacks for our cancer patients undergoing treatment. There are many dietary standards for those undergoing treatment, and many times it can be difficult to navigate. We would be setting a group of volunteers up in our Wellness Center kitchen with ingredients, recipes and instructions to great some great tasting food that are appropriate for our patients. There could also be an opportunity to deliver the food directly to patients as well. This project is a great way to volunteer at the hospital and directly affect patients' experience while undergoing extremely difficult treatment for cancer. Point of contact: Bill Smith
