Day of Caring 2019

City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department- Boulder Creek Bike Path

Shift Details

Shift NameCity of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department- Boulder Creek Bike Path
Description
Boulder Creek Bike Path is the most used multi-use path in the City of Boulder, serving over 500 bikers, joggers, and walkers each day. As the most used path Parks and Recreation works hard to increase visibility along the path for the safety of its users. Volunteers will help clear brush that decreases the visibility along the path and remove ash saplings to decrease the spread of emerald Ash borer. Due to the Emerald Ash Borer many trees along the creek have been removed and we have a constant need for help continuing to remove Ash saplings along the path.
