Day of Caring 2019

Volunteers will assist in weeding and planting an already established pollinator-friendly garden at OSMP's North Teller Trailhead area. The project will consist of assembling raised beds, installing landscape fabric, adding soil, planting flowers and mulching. Volunteers will hike around the ponds and learn about leopard frogs and irrigation structures. These gardens are a demonstration/education area and the beginning of greater emphasis on improving agricultural areas for pollinator habitat on OSMP lands.
