Bridging the Gap Career Week

The mock interview portion of the week is designed to help young people practice their interviewing skills and to have the opportunity to get feedback in an environment where the stakes aren’t so high. This can be an intimidating workshop for young people, but the feedback from previous weeks is always that it is so helpful. Volunteers for this workshop will be given a list of typical interview questions but are also encouraged to ask questions based off of client’s desired workplace or educational field, client’s resume, and client’s answers to other questions. Volunteers should be comfortable giving constructive feedback (as well as kudos) to young people to best prepare them for a real world interview experience.
