|Shift Name||Professional Dress Presenter|
After the resume, the interview is the first real impression that a young person can make on their potential employer. The purpose of this session is to cover the basics of professional dress – why it matters, how it varies depending on the job you might be applying for, and how to stay true to yourself and your style while also being appropriate for a professional setting. This session should prepare young people for the Goodwill shopping trip where they can put that knowledge to use and find an interview ready outfit.
The presenter for this workshop should be enthusiastic and able to provide constructive advice on professional attire while remembering that these are young people who might have limited experience in that area. A presentation will need to be created and supporting documents will be provided to assist.
Feel free to bring a friend or colleague for additional support!
