Please wear comfortable clothing, closed toed shoes, a mask, and anything blue, orange and white!

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.

Description

Wish Day Yard Signs - Participants will be provided with the necessary craft material to make yard signs for kiddos that are having their wishes granted. The material will need to be picked up at our office on September 22nd. The office will be open from 12:00 – 5:30 for pickup.  If a volunteer is unable to pickup their supplies during that timeframe, please have them connect with Kirsten Eastwood, keastwood@colorado.wish.org or jgetsch@colorado.wish.org. 

On September 25th, Make-A-Wish will host a virtual orientation to answer any questions about the project. This call will be held at 9 a.m. Completed projects should then be brought back to our office 7951 E Maplewood Ave, #126 Greenwood Village, CO 80111 on September 25th between Noon and 4 p.m. A link to the call will be provided to volunteers a few days before Denver Day of Service.
