Dress Requirements: Volunteers must bring their own masks. This will be a high energy opportunity so please wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. Children- Anyone planning to volunteer must register with specific & separate email addresses. Children are welcome to volunteer at this event. We ask that anyone under the age of 16 volunteer with a guardian throughout their shift and do not need to be officially registered. Language- Bilingual volunteers preferred.
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you or someone in your household traveled to a country on the CDC’s Level 3 watch list in the last 30 days? At this time, these include China, Iran, Italy and South Korea. These may change. See the CDC’s guidelines for the most up-to-date list.
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a fever, cough or shortness of breath. See the CDC’s symptom information.

| Description | Volunteers will spend their time helping direct the line of cars throughout the cones posted in lot J of the Empower Stadium. Volunteers are asked to bring their own masks and practice social distancing, orange vests will be provided for safety as well. This will be in person and outside with volunteers standing up for a couple of hours. Volunteers will ensure registered families are making their way to the distribution tent where they will receive school supplies. |
