| Description | Students will prepare bags for food pantry distribution on distribution days. They will mainly be creating bags with dry and canned goods that we give out on every distribution day. We can set up the assembly outside. This will include setting up tables, transporting food outside (this involves a lot of food), participating in an assembly line to create the bags. After 100 bags are completed (containing about 20 items each) clean up must be done. All boxes must be broken down and stacked, tables sanitized and put away. Completed bags put into the storage area.Volunteers are asked to wear clothes they don't mind getting dirty and closed toed shoes. Dress according to weather. Bring a water bottle.Transportation will NOT be provided. |
