Dress Requirements: Volunteers must bring their own masks. This will be a high energy, outdoor opportunity so please wear comfortable, warm clothing.

Children-  Distribution on Dec. 12th is a family friendly event. Kids attending will be counted as a volunteer. Due to the drive-through nature of our Holiday Box Delivery- we ask that no children under the age of 6 participate in that opportunity for the safety of your child and our families. Please note that coat sorting and box assembly shifts are not family friendly. Only volunteers 18 and older are allowed to volunteer in our building.

Language- Bilingual volunteers needed.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:

  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a fever, cough or shortness of breath. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered “yes’ to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy. If you have questions, please contact us at volunteer@unitedwaydenver.org
