Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
|Shift Name||Volunteer with Eldorado Canyon State Park|
Description: Thank you for volunteering at Eldorado Canyon State Park! We invite you to the park to experience breathtaking views of the sandstone cliffs, soaring eagles and a flourishing riparian ecosystem. On Friday April 22nd our CPW team would appreciate your help cleaning up trash and debris along S. Boulder Creek, transplanting willows (including removal and relocation) as well as weeding of invasive plant species.
Location: We will meet at the Visitor Center located 1 mile west of the park entrance, the park address is: 9 Kneale Rd, Eldorado Springs CO 80025
Requirements: We will provide all tools needed for the project, volunteers please bring work gloves, closed toed shoes, waders or knee high boots (if you have them) and layers of clothing suitable for our Rocky Mountain weather.
