Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

Description | Description: Most volunteers in the group will be helping with the Animal Care Team, which is some of the most important work at the shelter and includes cleaning our non-public dog kennel areas. If a project is available, a couple volunteers in the group would help with a facilities/maintenance project, indoors or outdoors (depending on the weather and what projects we need done at that time). Location: Humane Society of Boulder Valley: 2323 55th St. Boulder, CO 80303 Requirements: Volunteers must wear masks, closed-toed shoes, and clothes that can get dirty. Volunteers should be physically able and ready to do manual labor. This involves using pressure-washers, scrubbing, bending and kneeling. Volunteers should not be allergic to animals.
