Do you love nature? Come join our ABSOLUTE SUPER HERO TEAM - helping keep the environmental impact and footprint of these events to a minimum! This year, the Leadville Race Series is committed to diverting 80% of its waste away from landfills and into compost and recycling. They partner with a local non-profit, Cloud City Conservation Center (C4), to make this happen. 

Your role will be to work with the C4 team to help racers and spectators sort their waste during the event. Duties include, but are not limited to: monitor and manage zero waste stations, separate recyclable and compostable materials from trash, sort all materials during and after collection. Be prepared for a messy job; gloves and t-shirts will be provided. C4 staff will provide training, education, and support for this role. Make friends with other volunteers, give back to the planet, and help keep our trails clean and free of litter!
