|Shift Name||Friends of the Haven / The Baby Haven|
Description: The Baby Haven grounds are in need of weeding, trimming, tidying up, and new mulch needs to be installed. Additional work outside of the building needs to be done such as cleaning out cob webs and outdoor light fixtures, cleaning windows from the outside, picking up trash that blows in from other areas, drilling holes in planters for improved drainage and planting flowers. This is a great project for volunteers who enjoy working outside and who may enjoy lawn and garden work.
Requirements: Please come dressed to work outside and on the grounds. We recommend closed toe shoes, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and GARDEN GLOVES. Please bring your own water bottle. If possible, we would love it if volunteers could bring rakes, shovels, weeding tools, electric blowers, brooms, and anything helpful for working outside in lawn and garden areas and to clean windows.
Parking: Free and ample parking is available in front of the building (northside) or in the back of the building (southside)
