2025 Day of Caring with Mile High United Way

Project:  The project will be painting and rejuvenating our conference room (or two conference rooms depending on how many volunteers we get). Activities should include taping, painting, and cleanup.

Impact:  Refreshing the paint in our conference room will significantly enhance the environment where we host meetings, interviews, and other important events. Currently, the space has chipped paint and visible wear, which can make it feel uninviting and unprofessional. By improving the look and feel of this shared space, we can create a more welcoming atmosphere for staff, volunteers, and community members alike.  Volunteers will directly contribute to our mission by helping us create a space that reflects the care and respect we have for the people we serve. A well-maintained environment boosts morale, encourages collaboration, and makes our organization a more effective and appealing place to engage with. This project also allows us to allocate limited resources toward programming rather than facility upkeep, increasing our capacity to serve the community in meaningful ways.

Requirements:  Volunteers should dress in clothes they feel comfortable painting in and that they don't mind getting dirty. 

Parking:  Volunteers should park on the North Side of the building (with the flagpole) and come into the front door by the flagpole. DO NOT go into the east side doors, that will take you to our food bank. Once inside, volunteers can wait in the lobby area and we will check them in there.
