2025 Day of Caring with Mile High United Way

***Please note new start time:  10:30-if you need to make a change to your registration, please contact Jillian at jillian.allison@unitedwaydenver.org.***

Project:  Volunteers will be weeding in a food forest.

Impact:  Milk and Honey Farm is an education based organic and sustainable farm! We serve the community by donating everything that we grow to local students for education and families in Boulder experiencing food insecurities. Our food forest is a multi-layered jungle that grows edible/medicinal plants. Each year it gets bigger and bigger; the weeds included! We rely heavily on volunteer support and are so excited to include you in our community!

Requirements:  We are a working farm so please wear appropriate outdoor work attire: closed toed shoes, long pants, a sun hat, sunglasses. We have gardening gloves and weeding tools, but if you would like to bring your own you may. Don't forget your water bottle. Be prepared to sit, crouch, kneel on the ground.

Parking:  Park on the Boulder JCC gravel parking lot and walk South East to the barn porch where a staff member will greet you.
