Volunteers who are serving during the event on August 1 should watch the linked orientation video prior to their shift to learn more about about parking, check-in, safety procedures and what to expect. (The video is approximately 12 minutes and the speed can be adjusted in the settings.)

| Description | Volunteers at the volunteer check-in station will welcome others as they arrive before their shifts, sign them in, help them locate their station lead and orient them to their role. Volunteers at the check-in station should arrive right at 8:00 to prepare for a lot of action from 8:15 to 9:00. After 9:00, this will be a slower paced activity. Volunteers will consolidate the registration lists, replenish the snacks, give volunteers breaks and prepare for the next wave of volunteers at 10:30. When the Check in station volunteer arrive, they should stay in the ECE Center. These volunteers do not help with event set up. |
