2026 Day of Caring

Project: Volunteers will help revitalize the exterior of our building by repainting and refreshing the green accent stripe along the outside of the facility.

Impact: This project will improve the building's appearance, create a more welcoming environment for the individuals and families we serve, and help preserve the exterior of our community center. Volunteers will work together to prepare surfaces as needed, paint the designated areas, and assist with cleanup once the project is complete.

Requirements: Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing that they don't mind getting paint on, as well as closed-toe shoes suitable for working outdoors. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, as portions of the project will take place in direct sunlight. All painting supplies will be provided. This project requires volunteers to stand for extended periods, walk around the work area, bend, reach overhead, and perform light to moderate physical activity. Volunteers should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
