2026 Big Sugar Classic (MTB & Gravel)

Aid Station – Whistling Springs Brewery (50-Mile Course) Join the party at one of the most fun aid stations on course! Located at Whistling Springs Brewery, this stop features music, a lively atmosphere, refreshing beverages from the brewery (including their famous homemade root beer), and even a few friendly potbelly pigs looking for attention. This aid station serves the 50-mile course only, with the first riders expected around 9:30 a.m. Volunteers on the first shift will help set up tents, tables, the Water Monster hydration system, and food for incoming riders (all equipment will be provided in a U-Haul).

Time:  8:30am - 12:30pm

• Aid station at mile 29.7 of 50 mile course.

• Have your aid station ready to go by 9:30am 

• You’ll provide water, sports drink, and nutrition to resupply riders before they tackle the remaining 20 miles of the 50 mile course.

• There is NO crew support available for riders at the Whistling Springs Brewery, and elite riders will not be coming through here (you may have to instruct spectators of that) 

• Racers will be coming from the South, coming into the brewery, and heading north, out of the brewery

• You can set up the tents and tables for the aid station, across the street from the brewery

• Several aid station workers may also need to act as traffic control. This could be a point of dangerous interaction between bicycles and vehicles, so we will want to post marshals at intervals along the road to help ensure drivers are being safe, slow and courteous to riders.

• Bring music, noise makers, have fun at this station!
