2026 Day of Caring

This role is for Mile High United Way staff members, who will serve as representatives of the organizations, welcoming volunteers, providing t-shirts, running checking and volunteering.

Staff Leads will represent Mile High United Way at a project. Project assignments will be determined as we get closer to the event.  (Exact details about start time, end time, location and activity will be determined by project.)  Leads will communicate with the Mile High United Way volunteer team, welcome and check in volunteers, coordinate with nonprofit partner staff for final set up and signage, work on projects along side volunteers, checking in with them throughout the event, take photos, and wrap up the event. 

Prior to the event, staff leads will participate in a training on Wednesday, September 16 and pick up supplies.  After the event, leads will share the photos they took, return any materials and communicate with the volunteer team about the check in.
