Dress Requirements:  This will be a high energy, indoor/ outdoor opportunity so please wear comfortable, warm layered clothing.

Children-  This is a family friendly event. Children 17 and younger are welcome to volunteer at this event with an adult at the same station.  If you are planning to volunteer with children, you will be able to add them to your registration and do not need to create a separate registration for them.  Everyone 18 and older should register separately. 


Language- Bilingual volunteers needed, especially for the Bilingual Welcome and Personal Shopper roles.

If you are completing hours that need to documented, you must contact our staff at volunteer@unitedwaydenver.org prior to registering to confirm the compatibility of this event with your needs and to make arrangements for the documentation.

Description
Bilingual volunteers are encouraged to register for this role.
Volunteers will greet parents and guide them through the toy store as they're making their selection of toys. Offering to help hold toys that have been picked out is encouraged. Volunteers will then take the gifts to the gift wrapping station when the families are done shopping.  This role will involve standing and walking throughout the shifts, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
Volunteers for shift 3 will help clean-up as well.
