Majority of shifts will require being on your feet outside. Please prepare for walking and standing outside for long periods of time by dressing in layers and wearing comfortable shoes. Hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, and gloves are also recommended.
Children- This is a family friendly event. Children 17 and younger are welcome to volunteer at this event with an adult. If you are planning to volunteer with children, you will be able to add them to your registration and do not need to create a separate registration for them. Everyone 18 and older should register separately.
*For 11/26 shifts, please check in at the Volunteer Check In station at South High School
If you are completing hours that need to documented, you must contact our staff at volunteer@unitedwaydenver.org prior to registering to confirm the compatibility of this event with your needs and to make arrangements for the documentation.

Oversee all T-shirt Handout Volunteers, as well as, help organize and distribute Turkey Trot t-shirts to participants on race day. Tear down and pack all remaining t-shirts at the end of the event. You will be the go-to person for all questions involving T-shirts Handout.
