Majority of shifts will require being on your feet outside. Please prepare for walking and standing outside for long periods of time by dressing in layers and wearing comfortable shoes. Hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, and gloves are also recommended.
Children- This is a family friendly event. Children 17 and younger are welcome to volunteer at this event with an adult. If you are planning to volunteer with children, you will be able to add them to your registration and do not need to create a separate registration for them. Everyone 18 and older should register separately.
*For 11/26 shifts, please check in at the Volunteer Check In station at South High School
If you are completing hours that need to documented, you must contact our staff at volunteer@unitedwaydenver.org prior to registering to confirm the compatibility of this event with your needs and to make arrangements for the documentation.
If you are not feeling well or have a change of of plans and need to cancel or change your registration, please do so through the registration page or contact volunteer@unitedwaydenver.org for assistance.

| Description | Check IDs of all participants and volunteers entering the Beer Garden to identify those who are 21+. Monitor both the entrance and exit, assist with crowd control, and help ensure guests enter and exit through the designated areas. Monitor the Beer Garden area for trash and help keep the space clean and organized. Please also assist with Finish Village tear down when advised.
*Must check-in at Start Village prior to going to Beer Garden.
