2018 Chicago SuperSprint and Kids Triathlon

A dedicated group of volunteers stationed in specific stations along the route. These stations are intended to be additional rest points, allowing competitors to simply take a break without forward progress being made. This will give them time to gather their breath, collect their thoughts, and alleviate them from becoming true rescue incidents and take more of the lifeguards’ attention. This also keeps athletes from clinging to the sea wall and roughing up their feet.
