2023 Chicago Triathlon

You must provide your own kayak or paddle board. Volunteer at a station that is intended to be an additional rest point, allowing competitors to simply take a break without moving forward. This will give them time to gather their breath, collect their thoughts, and alleviate them from becoming true rescue incidents and take more of the lifeguards’ attention. This also keeps athletes from clinging to the sea wall and roughing up their feet.

Check-In: Check in with Krystal at the Volunteer Check-in tent. We will provide refreshments, but if you have special dietary needs please bring supplemental. Pack lightly as there is no bag check for volunteers (you will need to keep what you bring with you.)

Parking: We recommend parking on the nearby side streets or the lot at Wilson. You can pull up close to the Volunteer Tent to unload.
