|Shift Name||Eldorado Canyon State Park Project|
On Friday, April 21, Mile High United Way is recognizing both National Volunteer Week and Earth Day with simultaneous volunteer projects that will be hosted by nonprofit partner organizations at multiple locations. Be a part of this day of impact by registering for one of the many projects!
Description: Thank you for volunteering at Eldorado Canyon State Park! We invite you to the park to experience breathtaking views of sandstone cliffs, soaring eagles, and a flourishing riparian ecosystem. On Friday, April 21st, our Colorado Parks and Wildlife team would appreciate your help cleaning up trash and debris along S. Boulder Creek, transplanting and staking willows and weeding invasive plant species along our picturesque trails. Lunch will be provided.
Requirements: We will provide all tools needed; volunteers please bring work gloves, closed-toed shoes, waders, or knee-high boots (if you have them), and layers of clothing suitable for our Rocky Mountain weather.
