2023 National Volunteer Week with Mile High United Way

Join us as we assemble kits to recognize and appreciate teachers and staff from our United for Schools program! We will meet virtually on Zoom to build a teacher and school staff appreciation kit that can be donated to Mile High United Way or given to a teacher you appreciate. Purchase the recommended items below and log in to our Zoom session to virtually assemble your kit with other community volunteers. Make it extra fun by inviting friends to join or plan it as a family activity! We will share our inspiration jar ideas and stories of amazing teachers who have inspired us. 

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Kit

Supplies you will need: pens, markers, scissors, ruler, stickers, small gift bag to decorate, a small glass jar with a lid (12-16 oz. size), a couple sheets of construction paper

Items to include in the kit: In the small gift bag include your jar of inspiration and encouragement https://www.pinterest.com/pin/558376053780963328/  (we will make these together!), lip balm, small lotion, hand sanitizer, felt-tip pens, chocolate, $5 gift card to Starbucks or Target.
