On Friday, April 21, Mile High United Way is recognizing both National Volunteer Week and Earth Day with simultaneous volunteer projects that will be hosted by nonprofit partner organizations at multiple locations.  Be a part of this day of impact by registering for one of the many projects!

Description:  Volunteers will be serving at a new construction site project in Longmont.   

Tasks based on the stage of construction but include:

  • Framing, Siding, and Drywall
  • Baseboards and flooring
  • Painting and finish work 
  • Insulation

Requirements: 

Volunteers must also register through the Habitat for Humanity of St. Vrain Valley's website prior to volunteering.  Prior to the event, you will be sent a link to register with Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley.

  • No experience necessary—we provide tools, instruction, safety gear, and all building materials
  • Volunteers are asked to commit to a full day (8am-4pm with a 1 hour lunch)
  • Everyone must participate in a mandatory safety orientation
  • All volunteers must be at least 16 years old
