2019 Chicago Triathlon

Motorcycle volunteers ferry race officials, photographers, and media personnel around, in, and on the bicycle portion to support the Triathlon. This is a highly-skilled position. While not necessary to have worked prior races, experience is a plus. Motorcyclists must provide their own motorcycle and helmet (required to wear). Full-fingered gloves, over-the-ankle boots, jeans, and a long-sleeve jacket are highly suggested. Riders must be able to carry a passenger, show proof of a valid drivers license with motorcycle endorsement, and proof of insurance. Please read the motorcyclist guidelines that will be sent upon registration. Race Day Location Check-in: Lower Randolph, under Lake Shore Drive, circa 100 yards west of the lower Randolph cul-de-sac. If you are on Upper Randolph, you are in the wrong place; if you look up and see blue sky, you are in the wrong place. You are only in the right place if you look up and see the underside of Lake Shore Drive! *Must use personal motorcycle
