It was a great experience to volunteer at a race in the town I live in. To be able to help others, cheer on the athlete's and clean up after everyone was gone and return the place we were at to nature was very rewarding. I'll be back again next year and many years after that.

The whole experience was gratifying knowing I was able to help out with the Race Series and my hometown. I usually run the 15.5 in July and it was interesting to see what happens behind the scenes. Meeting new people with the passion to volunteer and also race in different races here and in other states was great to listen to.
