Barn Burner 2016 was a great event even if it proved a bit dusty for the racers. A bit of rain a few days prior would have been welcomed by the racers to cool things off and make breathing easier. The "new" venue location in Crowley Park seemed well-suited for this event. I am glad i was moved by Gladys to volunteer in the MAIN Aid Tent since there was no mount/dismount line at the new venue. I worked in the Aid tent from 8.45am- 6.45pm. Many thanks go out to Gladys, Beth, and the entire crew of workers and fellow volunteers who put so much effort into creating an enjoyable+memorable mountain bike race. I look forward to next year.
