Participating in the setup of Longhorn Run was enjoyable and memorable. It encouraged a foundation for teamwork and ability to cooperate with others in a timely manner. Though it was running simple tasks such as filling up bottles or unboxing snacks, it taught me a great deal of responsibility and the impact that a singe person can have.

Tabling in front of Gregory Plaza on behalf of the Queer and Asian organization allowed me to interact with other fellow longhorns and spread awareness about the newly formed club.

Though it was a rainy day, volunteering at the Easter Egg hunt was an enjoyable experience that reinforced the values of teamwork and communication. The festive event required a lot of coordination and intricate planning. Without the help of many enthusiastic volunteers, the event would not have gone as well as it did. I left with a positive experience and I hope to return next again next year

Participating at the Trail of Lights was a wonderful opportunity to explore Zilker Park during a festive night. It created a genuine bonding experience between the committee and the volunteers. Volunteering here has made me realize the importance of teamwork in the midst of holding a massive event such as the Trail of Lights. Communication becomes critical and a supportive team becomes the building block of hosting such an event for the public.
