Volunteered at Micah 6 on 10/6, 10/20, and 10/27. Micah 6 is a food pantry located near campus for the homeless. I helped bag groceries and assist in the distribution line.
Volunteering at Manos de Cristo almost every week this semester for about 2 hours.
Every Friday for about 2 hours, I volunteered at Manos de Cristo, a dental clinic for low income patients through the organization, Texas Pre-Dental Society.
Every Wednesday this semester, I volunteered under the Women in Natural Sciences Meals on Wheels Community Service Events. It was a great way to get in touch and help the poor and disabled in the Austin community.

I volunteered as a data collector for a study conducted on preventing high-risk drinking among undergraduate students. This project aimed to determine the locations of tailgating activities on and around campus as well as to observe the behaviors of tailgaters.
Volunteering at the Longhorn Halloween was a great experience! Children around the Austin community came out to trick-or-treat at this fun, organized campus event. I was able to teach a little science to the kids and give out candy as a part of the Women in Natural Sciences group.
