While I was uncertain at first, I did manage to have a good time and I feel like I made a difference in this community.

I love Barnes and Noble so volunteering in their tent went great. It would get a little boring at times because I had to stand and prevent people from entering the tent the wrong way.

Volunteering at the Contemporary Austin allowed me to see some interesting presentations about photographs and art. I really liked the discussion on the black and white photographs that were taken across numerous locations around the globe.

I was very glad to have this opportunity where I was able to have a lot of fun and I was there to help people out.

I found it really humbling to write these letters. I have been thankful for the "Holiday Heroes" and I'm glad that I let them know.

I had a lot of fun watching people walk by the trail of lights. The Trail was also very beautiful. This is something I definitely want to do again.
